Results: Question results now lead with the percentage correct (raw counts alongside) and put Nurture’s recommendation at the top, ahead of the detailed breakdown.
Dashboard: A redesigned session list with clearer cards and role badges, a decluttered top navigation, and — if you host more than you join — the dashboard now opens on your hosted sessions.
Host controls: Limit participants to responding only to the posted check-in question, toggle quiz confidence and reflection steps, decide whether students explain their answers, and turn reactions on or off.
Answers: Participants can change their poll or quiz answer right up until the reveal or the question closes.
Attention nudge: If something needs you while you’re on another tab, Signal plays a sound and changes the tab icon.

Assignment generation: Generated assignments no longer include instructions about how long a student should spend or exactly how to submit — that stays at your discretion.
Security & reliability: We completed a round of proactive security hardening across the platform, further strengthening access controls, session security and data isolation between classrooms and schools.

Fixes

AI feedback: In some setups the AI could treat the assignment’s marking scheme as if it were the student’s answers. Feedback is now always drafted from the student’s actual submission.

Prepared questions: Build a full set of questions before a session starts — including hinge questions — and publish each one when the moment is right.
Question types: Checking for Understanding now supports single- and multi-answer diagnostic questions, with AI guidance appearing inline the moment a question closes.
Replay & duplicate: Step back through a finished session exactly as it unfolded, or duplicate one — questions and content included — to run it again.
Engagement checkpoints: Add checkpoints that ask every student to check in on the Engagement Continuum at the moments you choose.

Sharing: Start a session before anyone’s joined and Signal now prompts you with the share link, so a class is never left waiting at a blank screen.
Joining: Students arriving late can now join a session while it’s paused instead of being locked out until it resumes.
In-session UI: A tidier session header, a friendlier empty state for the participants list, a confirmation step before presentation mode opens, and less badge clutter on participant rows.

Sessions: Starting a session always returns the host to question 1, so the wrong question can’t be released by accident.

Student insights: A new insights view pulls a student’s work together into an AI-generated picture of their strengths and where to focus next.

Feedback: Refining a single section now opens a full editor where you can edit directly and preview exactly what the student will see.

Fixes

Canvas: Fixed a visual alignment issue in the create-assignment panel so it sits flush with the Canvas tray.

The big one this week: feedback review, redesigned. Instead of building feedback through an AI chat, teachers now start from a pre-filled draft — the comment, a suggested grade and a success-criteria breakdown — ready to review, tweak and approve. Same quality of feedback, far fewer steps.

Math notation: Equations, subscripts and superscripts are now supported in AI-generated assignments, the editor, and file transcripts.

Improvements

AI editing: Ask the AI to change one part of your feedback and only that part changes — your manual edits everywhere else are left exactly as you wrote them.
Feedback: No more drafts for work that wasn’t submitted — feedback and grades are no longer generated for students who haven’t handed anything in, and the no-submission flow makes that status clear.

Fixes

Canvas: Approved grades for some assignments failed to sync back to Canvas.
Microsoft Teams: Teachers and students on manually-managed rosters could hit a dead end signing in — students are now enrolled automatically the first time they open Nurture from Teams.
AI feedback: Fixed an occasional error interrupting drafting when the AI response came back empty.
