## 1\. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the rules that apply to everyone who uses **Nurture Signal** — hosts and participants alike — whether or not they hold an account.

Nurture Signal is a real-time engagement platform operated by **Nurture Technology Ltd** (“Nurture”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). It allows hosts to run interactive sessions and allows participants to contribute reactions, responses, questions, and comments.

By using Nurture Signal, you accept this Policy. If you do not agree with it, you must not use the platform.

This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our [Terms of Use](https://www.gonurture.com/legal/signal-terms.md) and [Privacy Policy](https://www.gonurture.com/legal/signal-privacy-policy.md).

## 2\. The Short Version

Nurture Signal exists to help groups share honest, constructive feedback in real time. Use it for that.

Do not use it to harm, harass, deceive, or exploit anyone, to break the law, or to disrupt the platform or other people’s sessions.

We may remove content, suspend access, or end sessions that violate this Policy.

## 3\. Prohibited Content

You must not submit, share, or display content on Nurture Signal that:

-   Is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
-   Harasses, bullies, threatens, intimidates, or degrades any person or group;
-   Is hateful or discriminatory on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic;
-   Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexualises minors in any way;
-   Depicts, promotes, or glorifies violence, self-harm, or cruelty;
-   Contains personal, confidential, or sensitive information about another person shared without their permission (including “doxxing”);
-   Is defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, or deliberately misleading;
-   Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right;
- Contains malware, malicious links, or any code designed to disrupt or damage software, hardware, or data; or
- Constitutes spam, chain messages, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited advertising.

## 4\. Prohibited Uses

You must not use Nurture Signal to:

-   Impersonate another person, organisation, or Nurture itself, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
-   Join sessions you have not been invited to, or attempt to access sessions, data, or accounts that are not yours;
-   Harvest, scrape, or collect information about other users;
-   Monitor, surveil, or evaluate people in ways they have not been made aware of, or use the platform to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals;
-   Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or moderation features of the platform (including bans, rate limits, and content controls);
-   Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform, or disrupt its operation (including by flooding sessions with automated or bulk content);
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the platform to third parties as a service of your own without our written agreement; or
- Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, including data-protection, privacy, and export-control laws.

## 5\. Responsibilities of Hosts

If you host sessions on Nurture Signal, you are responsible for the sessions you run. As a host, you must:

-   Use the moderation tools available to you (such as removing content or participants) to keep your sessions consistent with this Policy;
-   Ensure participants are told, where required, how their responses will be used;
- Not use the platform to collect sensitive personal data from participants; and
- Comply with any obligations that apply to you in your own setting — for example, safeguarding obligations in education or workplace policies in organisations.

## 6\. Responsibilities of Participants

If you join a session as a participant, you must:

-   Contribute honestly and respectfully;
- Respect the host’s instructions for the session; and
- Not attempt to rejoin a session you have been removed from.

## 7\. Reporting Misuse

If you see content or behaviour on Nurture Signal that you believe violates this Policy, please report it to us at **support@gonurture.com**. Include the session code and a description of the issue where possible.

We review reports promptly and treat them confidentially.

## 8\. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

-   Remove or hide content that violates this Policy;
-   Remove participants from sessions;
-   Suspend or terminate accounts or access to the platform;
- End or delete sessions; and
- Report unlawful activity to relevant authorities.

We aim to be proportionate: honest mistakes are treated differently from deliberate or repeated abuse.

## 9\. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, and material changes will be indicated by an updated effective date above.

## 10\. Contact

Questions about this Policy can be sent to **support@gonurture.com**.
