## How it works

Open the Curriculum tab Every classroom has one, beside Sessions, Insights and Students. Add your documents Your syllabus, scheme of work, glossary and rubrics. Each shows Ready once Signal can use it. Create as normal Questions and feedback for that classroom use your words, scope and depth.

**What is a curriculum boundary?**

It is the set of documents that describes what a class is taught and how it is assessed, such as the syllabus, scheme of work, glossary and rubrics. In Nurture Signal you upload them to a classroom’s Curriculum tab, and Signal draws on them whenever it generates sessions, questions and feedback for that classroom.

**How is this different from attaching a file to one session?**

A file attached to a session guides that session only. Curriculum documents guide everything Signal writes for the classroom, so you upload your syllabus or scheme of work once rather than with every lesson.

**Which plan includes the Curriculum tab?**

The Curriculum tab is on every Nurture Signal account. What Signal generates from it depends on your plan: generating a session from a topic is available to everyone, while creating from a file and personalised feedback are Premium.

**Can I change my curriculum documents later?**

Yes. Add a document at any time with Add document, and remove one with Remove. Signal stops using a removed document from then on, and anything it has already generated stays as it is.

**What files can I upload, and how many?**

PDF, Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, OpenDocument, PNG, JPEG and plain text files, each up to 20MB, with up to 20 documents per classroom. Each one shows Indexing while it is processed and Ready when Signal can use it.
