Every session has a six-character join code, a join link and a QR code. Choose Share on the session to see all three. Put the QR code on the board for a class in the room, or share the link where your students already look: copy it, send it by email, or use the Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom buttons to post it to a channel, chat or class post.

Students who follow the link or scan the code arrive on the join card with the code filled in. They can also type the code on the Signal homepage.

What happens next depends on the session’s guest setting. With guests allowed, students type their name and go straight in. Without it, they sign in first. To check what your students will see, choose Preview as student under the link and code in the Share window.
