Purpose of the role

To support our Teaching and Learning team in delivering high-quality, in-person T&L training across Nurture schools in Ireland and Northern Ireland — ensuring teachers and leaders confidently embed formative assessment practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person T&L training sessions across Nurture partner schools in ROI and NI (the primary focus of the role)
  • Support onboarding and “train the trainer” delivery to scale impact across school systems
  • Apply formative assessment pedagogy, grounded in Dylan Wiliam’s five key strategies
  • Ensure sessions align with school, organisation, and national policy contexts
  • Support resource delivery (handbooks, guides, session materials) and feed classroom insight back to the team
  • Collaborate with the Delivery, Sales and Product teams as needed

Essential requirements

  • Qualified secondary school teacher
  • Demonstrable specialisation / strong experience in EdTech
  • Proven teaching & learning expertise
  • Solid grounding in formative assessment (Dylan Wiliam’s five strategies) — a hard requirement
  • Confident, credible in-person facilitator with teachers and school leaders
  • Full driving licence and a willingness to travel across ROI and NI

Desirable

  • Experience delivering CPD / professional learning to teachers
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams in a school setting
  • Experience working across both ROI and NI education systems
