Can I turn a lesson plan into quiz questions?
Yes. When you create a session, choose From a file instead of Describe a topic and add your lesson plan, a handout, an assessment or your notes. Nurture Signal drafts up to 20 questions from that material, and you review and edit every one before anything reaches students.
How is this different from a quiz generator?
A quiz generator writes questions about a topic. Signal writes them from the material you actually teach, and it builds them for checking understanding: multiple-choice questions where each wrong option points to a misconception, with students explaining their reasoning when they answer.
Which plan do I need?
Creating a session from a file is a Premium feature, marked with a gold crown in the app. Describing a topic is available on every account. Premium is set up for you or your school by the Nurture team, so book a demo or get in touch to add it.
Do students see the questions before I check them?
No. The questions are a draft until you publish. You can edit, add or remove questions first, and Signal asks you to confirm you have reviewed any AI-written question you haven’t opened yet before the session goes live.
Should I upload the file to the session or to my curriculum?
Ask whether the document is for one lesson or for the whole class. A lesson plan, worksheet or past paper for one session belongs in that session. A syllabus, scheme of work, glossary or rubric that applies all term belongs in the classroom’s Curriculum tab, where Signal uses it for every session.
