Your school decides. When a school uses Signal, it decides how Signal is used and, as the controller of its students’ data, whether consent is needed and from whom.
To help, our privacy documents set out what Signal collects, why, where it’s stored and who processes it. Guest joining also lets students take part with just a name, without an account.
