Privacy and safety
To mark answers, check for guesses, write feedback and summarise the class, Signal sends the relevant work to an AI provider: the question, students’ answers and reasons, and any files they uploaded.
It doesn’t send students’ account names or email addresses. Anything a student types into an answer, such as their own name, goes with the answer.
AI features only run when you use them, and several are part of Premium. The privacy policy and sub-processors page list the AI provider and where processing happens.
