Understanding the data
Yes.
On Premium, AI insights summarise what students wrote, grouping it into themes with how many students said each thing. You can generate them for:
- the explanations or answers on a question;
- students’ confidence comments and reflections at the end of an Assessment;
- comments on an engagement check-in.
Insights need at least two written responses, and leave out answers flagged as low effort. If more answers arrive after you generate one, Signal tells you so you can regenerate it.
On every plan, Signal recommends whether to move on, recap or reteach each question, worked out from the answers without AI. You make the call.
