Running sessions
There are three, and you choose one when you create a session.
- Engage is a live session for reading the room. Students send engagement check-ins, comments and questions, answer polls and quick questions, and write reflections. Use it to see how the class is feeling and thinking during a lesson.
- Live Quiz is a quiz you run from the front of the room. You open each question when you’re ready, see every answer and reason come in, then reveal the answer and decide whether to move on, recap or reteach. Use it for hinge questions and retrieval checks.
- Assessment is a quiz students work through at their own pace, in class or at home, with an optional due date. Every question is open from the start, you choose when students see feedback, and they finish with a confidence rating and a reflection.
Your school can choose which types are switched on.
