Can I add questions during a lesson?

Yes, and how it works depends on the session type.

• In an Engage session, add a question, poll, check-in or reflection while the session runs, or have AI draft several. Send each one now, or save it for later in the lesson.
• In a Live Quiz, a question you add waits until you open it, so you can prepare the next question while students answer the current one.
• In an Assessment, a question you add while it’s running opens to students straight away. Once any student has submitted, you can’t add more questions, because their score would no longer cover the whole Assessment.

To keep a lesson flowing, prepare most questions before the lesson and add only the ones the class shows you need.
