Can I mute or remove one student without stopping the session?

Yes, in every session type, and nobody else is affected.

Open the participants list and choose the student’s menu:

• Mute makes them view only. They can still see the session, but can’t answer, comment or react until you unmute them.
• Remove & ban takes them out of the session and stops them rejoining it.

In an Engage session you can also turn off free reactions for everyone, if reactions are becoming a distraction. Pausing a live session pauses it for the whole class.
