Upload work a student completed outside Nurture and let the Assistant draft their feedback and grading.

Watch the video above, or follow the steps below.

Sometimes a student completes their work outside Nurture, for example on a document sent to you by email. You can upload that work on their behalf and the Nurture AI Assistant will generate feedback and grading on it.

How to upload

  1. Open the student’s submission.
  2. Click Upload this student’s work.
  3. Click to upload and select the document. It uploads and appears under the student submission. You can add more than one file if needed.
  4. Click Generate AI Draft. The Assistant drafts the personal feedback and the score. This usually takes less than a minute.

Editing the feedback and grading works exactly as covered in the earlier tutorials. Grading works the same whether the student submitted in Nurture or you uploaded their work.

The one difference

Because you uploaded the work, the Assistant does not have the student’s confidence level or personal comment. When a student submits in Nurture directly, that extra context helps produce a slightly more personal comment. If you want to make uploaded-work feedback more specific, you can add your own context through the structured question flow (covered in the editing feedback tutorial).
