Run a quick poll check-in

Gauge opinion or spark discussion with a poll: a question that just counts votes, with no correct answer.

When to use it: You want a fast temperature check or an opinion split, not a graded question.

Steps

1. On your engagement session’s host page, choose the Send a message button (bottom right).
2. Select the Poll tab.
3. Type your question and fill in the Poll options (the hint reminds you that “Polls have no correct answer”).
4. If you’d like, open Settings and set Ask for a reason to Don’t show, Optional, or Required.
5. Choose Post to share it with participants.

Tip: A poll shows only vote counts, no right or wrong, so no correctness insights are generated. You can also Save for later to queue the poll and send it at the right moment during the session.
