Set up presentation mode before you present

Confirm how the projected view will look before it opens, so nothing unexpected appears on the big screen.

When to use it: Just before you put the session up on a projector or shared screen.

Steps

1. On your host screen, tap Present (or Presenter View in the menu).
2. In the Presenter view panel that slides in, set Anonymous presenter mode on or off.
3. If it’s offered, set Show participant reasoning on presenter on or off.
4. Tap Open Presentation View.

Tip: Your choices are saved before the presenter view opens in a new tab, so the projected screen matches your settings immediately. “Show participant reasoning on presenter” only appears for Check-for-Understanding sessions, and names are never shown there.
